Reveal the Hope

A "Mask"...erade Fundraiser

Friday, October 4, 2024

7pm to 9:00pm

Second Harvest Food Bank

3330 Shorefair Drive

Winston-Salem, NC 27105

Annie’s Hope Center for Growing and Healing (AHC) was founded in 2017 to provide safe housing for women, their children, and their pets who are experiencing physical and/or emotional abuse in an intimate partner relationship. Even when home has become the most dangerous place for them to live, finding a way out is often hard. Leaving an abusive partner is risky and frightening. Annie’s Hope Center provides a place of safety and healing that can change the lives of these women and their children.

What is Annie’s Hope Center? AHC is a long-term (12-18 months) safe harbor where residents can heal, learn to trust, and build their confidence. AHC offers counseling, GED programs, financial education programs, job skills training, and other services to help abused women become self-sufficient, contributing members of the community.

Why have an event?  On Friday, October 4, 2024, AHC is holding its first annual Unmask the Violence, Reveal the Hope event– Mask...erade– with two goals in mind: to raise awareness about domestic violence and to raise money to provide a caring and restorative place in our community for victims of domestic violence.  A fun event with a serious cause. Mask is optional.

We invite you to become an AHC sponsor.   As a sponsor, you will help us continue to provide this much-needed resource in our community.  We hope you will join us on October 4 to enjoy a delicious meal, partake of your favorite libations, and bid on silent and live auction items. In the company of friends new and old, you will be helping to raise community awareness and provide abused women with a safe, secure, and peaceful home where they will find love and respect. Sponsoring “Unmask the Violence” is an opportunity to expand your charitable profile and gain exposure across broad segments of our community.  In this packet, you will find more information about sponsorship levels. If you have questions, please feel free to email me.
